Being Well Retreat: Tai Chi, Nature & Everyday Health

Friday 1 – Monday 4 May 2026

From £1,399

Find your flow, reconnect with nature, and restore your sense of balance during a deeply nourishing weekend at The Falcon, a haven of calm and countryside beauty within the Castle Ashby estate.

Learning ways to be well through movement.

Any time spent at The Falcon is rewarding — good food, good fun, good exercise, and the chance for restoration, reflection, quiet time, together time, and connection with both nature and people.

Over these precious days, you’ll join Angus ClarkTracy & Spenny Northampton to explore the essence of everyday wellbeing. Guided by Angus, you’ll learn to tap into the essences of the ancient practices of Tai Chi and Chi Gong, discovering how to immerse yourself in your body — feet, hands, heart, and breath. Be in the moment and move into your wellbeing; sense how your body naturally prefers an easy flow of movement — feet to earth, spirit to sky — allowing your mind and body to rest and restore.

Some of the sessions will be outdoors, specially designed to help you tune into the beauty, energy, and renewal of spring and early summer at Castle Ashby.

Angus’s many years of experience in learning and teaching Tai Chi and Qigong movement are distilled into easy-to-learn, practical, and inspiring moves to help you be well — every day. Whether you’re completely new to the practice or already an experienced enthusiast, you’re likely to leave full of insights, experiences, and simple, sustaining tools for living well.

Set within serene surroundings, the retreat unfolds at a gentle pace — morning movement on the lawn, mindful walks among the trees, wholesome seasonal meals, and peaceful evening reflections. With time to rest, wander, or simply be, this long weekend offers the perfect balance of activity, learning, and renewal.
