The Power of Purpose: A Women’s Retreat for a Meaningful Life

Sunday 6 – Friday 11 September 2026

From £3150 / $4347

Join mindfulness practitioner of forty years and best-selling author Caroline Welch for a transformational women’s retreat designed to help you uncover and align with your purpose.

from chaos to calm

In a world filled with distractions and ever-growing to-do lists, we can be left with little time for ourselves and lose sight of our purpose, which can negatively impact our mental wellbeing, emotional health and overall life satisfaction.

If you’ve found yourself feeling overwhelmed, distracted, burnt-out, directionless or unsure of your next step, we invite you to switch off from the outside world and tune into yourself within the healing setting of nature on this transformational women’s retreat.

Through group workshops with Caroline, you’ll be guided to uncover what it is that you desire, and she’ll work with you to explore practices that you can integrate to keep you aligned with your goals. We’ll work through understanding why self-care isn’t selfish, how boundaries are key to alignment, and how our purpose can evolve to suit the life we wish to lead.

As well as Caroline’s immersive workshops, this retreat also includes an itinerary of calming experiences – such as yoga, sound healing and nature walks – designed to ground you in the present moment. Also included in the retreat experience are nutritious meals each day and five nights’ accommodation here at The Falcon, Castle Ashby – a former boutique hotel which now operates as a transformational healing destination.

Exclusively for guests of this retreat, Tracy and Spenny Northampton are opening the doors to their family home – Compton Wynyates – which has been closed to the public since 1979. During this once-in-a-lifetime visit, you’ll be guided around the vast grounds of the famous Tudor home by our co-founder Spenny himself.

After spending five nights in our care, you can expect to leave feeling lighter, clearer on your path, confident about the future, and equipped with the tools required to keep your purpose at the forefront of your mind each day.

Care notice

We have incorporated free time within the itinerary for you to spend as you please, with optional activities to take part in – including open-water swimming, body treatments and auricular acupuncture – at an additional cost.

Please expect some uneven ground, natural woodland paths and staircases, especially during the Compton Wynyates visit. During the retreat, participants are encouraged to wear comfortable footwear and to move at their own pace. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact salesmanager@thefalcon-castleashby.com

Our retreats are rooted in care – for yourself and for the group. We ask that you self-monitor your health in the days leading up to the retreat and attend only if you are feeling well.
