WOODLAND ADVENTURE

SANE COPSE NATURE WALK

Join us for an enchanting walk through a breathtaking Site of Special Scientific Interest! While the Spring flowers have bid farewell, the Summer blooms are in full display along the ride edges, attracting a vibrant array of butterflies and other insects. The serene ponds are a haven for damselflies and dragonflies. Your expert guide, John Showers, will lead you through this natural wonderland, pointing out fascinating wildlife and sharing intriguing stories about the site’s history, including its unique role during the Second World War that has shaped its special habitat in Northants.

Gear up with your wellingtons or waterproof boots and don’t forget your camera and binoculars to capture the magic!

This gentle walk is perfect for nature enthusiasts, though the terrain can be a bit uneven and wet in spots.

Meet John at The Falcon and prepare to follow him in your own vehicle to Sane Copse. Please note that transport services are not provided by The Falcon. Don’t miss this chance to explore and learn about a hidden gem of Northants.

Upcoming dates: 20th October at 10am.

£15 per person.
